This is amazing! Watch as Jodie Marsh attempts to keep a smile in place for what must have seemed like an eternity while a slew of drunks queue up for a photo and a bit of an ould lech. Imagine the trainwrecks that didn’t make it into the video! Special shout out to the perv (18secs), the poser(1.15) the pisshead (1.29), the perm (3.14) and the prepubescents (4.36). Watch it through. This is comedy gold!

  1. At times, even through the permasmile, she does look very concerned for her own safety with some of them inbreds. And yeah lovin the permed lad at 3.14. What a look!

  2. Dear Mr Coffey,

I usually find your comedy quite entertaining but i do feel your ridicule of the lovely Ms Marsh and the citizens of the greater Gweedore area quite insulting and has quite simply Gone To Far.

As you must be aware, Ireland is in a serious economic depression and the tourism sector has been especially hit. The last thing this country needs is smart mouths like you, ridiculing the greater irish speaking area of Gweedore.

I’m as up for a laugh as the next man and I have enjoyed your comedy shows on many occasions with friends and family- but I am outraged at this and I promise I will never watch your television show again.

I will be mentioning this slant against our community in the weekly newsletter and I will be imploring the good people of Gweedore to boycott your show and blog at all costs.

    Yours etc,

    Francis O’Donnel
Lord Mayor of the Gweedore Area

Wow my blog has a further reach than I thought!

  4. Blanaid says:

I wonder will he issue a fatwa in the newsletter…

  5. Your blog sir, has little reach in comparison to that of the long arm of Johnny law and the Gweendore council.

We are looking into taking legal action against your slander and the racist comments you and your fancy courtesan friend have made.

We have also had contact with Ms March’s representatives, suffice to say; she is not impressed Mr Coffey.

    Yours etc,

    Francis O’Donnel
Lord Mayor of the Gweedore Area

I’ll take your word for it Dave, couldn’t bear to watch after 1 minute. I agree with the mayor, you’ve Gone To Far!

  7. Sarah Costigan says:

    WTF??? tut tut Dave :)

  8. That’s gotta be a wind up right? I mean, you didn’t even say anything negative about Gweedore! And is if Jodie Marsh would give a flying flip about anyone slagging a couple of people from a town she was in once and probably can’t/doesn’t want to remember.

To be honest, Mr. Mayor (if you’re really the mayor which I highly doubt) I don’t think going to the press and drawing attention to this video is gonna do much for the tourist trade in Gweedore! Maybe keep schtum and do some work instead of dossing on the Internet googling Gweedore?!

    Good man yourself.

  9. Ms Cunnigham,

Firstly; this has absolutely NOTHING to do with you.

Secondly; As Lord Mayor- it is my job to be informed at all times about the goings and comings of the greater Gweedore area. It is also my responsibility to uphold the reputation of this fantastic part of our beloved country.

We do not take such harsh criticism, as Mr Coffey has presented, lightly.

They are Unfounded, Unwarranted and completely Unnecessary.

The issue was presented at the Gweedore Council last night and it was unanimously agreed to proceed with taking legal action against the slander.

As regards Ms Marsh, it is our understanding that she is quite upset indeed and will take her own actions against MR Coffey.

And for the record- I wasn’t “googling” Gweedore. As it happens i WAS a great fan of Mr Coffey and this blog USED to bring me great pleasure.

    Yours etc,

    Francis O’Donnel
Lord Mayor of the Gweedore Area

  10. Dave says:

Does anyone else think the Gweedore Council sounds like something from Lord of The Rings?

  11. Mayor Francis O'Donnel says:

Making light of the situation and the Gweedore Council will not benefit anyone Mr Coffey.

    Yours etc,

    Francis O’Donnel
Lord Mayor of the Gweedore Area

  12. James says:

It does indeed sound like something from Lord of Rings.

I thought it was the Greater Gweedore Area, not the Gweedore Area? Not as great since Jodie’s visit?!?
